The Southeast Delco Food Pantry opens Saturday, April 18, for all students, staff, families, and community members! 🌟

The pantry will be available from 12:00 to 2:00pm at the Academy Park High School cafeteria.

Friday, April 10 marks the end of the third quarter in the Southeast Delco School District! ✍️

We hope everyone had a relaxing and refreshing spring break. We’re excited to see our students and staff back in our classrooms, ready to learn, grow, and finish the school year strong together!

Beginning Monday, April 6, the BusAlert app will officially be available to all Southeast Delco families who receive in-district transportation services, providing real-time bus tracking, arrival notifications, and updates on delays or route changes. 🚌

Getting started is simple:

Students in the Southeast Delco Gifted Program explored art and culture during a recent field trip to The Barnes Museum! The experience provided a meaningful opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world inspiration. 🎨

Sixth graders Jaylen Hampton and Abigail Nyaen recently represented Sharon Hill School at the Delaware County Spelling Bee, competing against more than 60 talented spellers from across the county! 🐝

Abigail earned an impressive top five finish, and both students demonstrated outstanding effort and determination throughout the competition.

A special thank you goes to Corinne Povey for organizing the classroom and school-wide spelling bees, and for supporting our students during this exciting event!

Join us in celebrating Darby Township School 5th grade teacher Brittany Kristman, who was recently honored with the Philadelphia Eagles Nouryon All-Pro Teacher Award!

Ms. Kristman was one of just 10 teachers selected this year for the prestigious award, which recognizes outstanding educators within a 70-mile radius of Philadelphia. She was celebrated at a recent Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field, where she was recognized on the field in front of more than 60,000 fans and received a personalized Eagles jersey.

Even more special, she was nominated by fellow Darby Township teacher Rosie Cavanagh, who shared:

“I nominated Ms. Kristman for this award due to her dedication and willingness to help all students & staff at all times. I truly believe she goes above and beyond to make our school a better place.”

The Southeast Delco School District Food Pantry will open Saturday, March 21, from 12:00 to 2:00pm in the APHS cafeteria. The pantry will offer free food and essentials to students, families, staff, and community members.

This ongoing effort supports access to healthy, nourishing food for every household in the school community. 💙

Reminder: There will be no school for students on Friday, March 20. ✍️
