Dear Families,
I am writing to share an update on a situation that occurred this afternoon in the community. After the school day had ended, a student notified their teacher via email that they had heard another student make a threatening comment regarding school safety.
School administration contacted local law enforcement, and police officers have conducted an investigation. They do not believe the threat to be credible.
We appreciate the student who came forward to notify staff of the potential threat. We encourage others to do the same if they find themselves in a similar situation in the future. We are also grateful for the support of our local law enforcement partners. As always, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority.
